I mentioned before how handy it would be to be able to connect an external microphone to the N95. It appears somebody found the necessary adapters at RadioShack.

Works like a charm. Installed the Nokia and Gizmo apps on my Nokia n95 and opened an account with Gizmo. Now I can initiate and receive calls via GrandCentral. It’s a beautiful thing. Calls sound better than they do via T-Mobil… :)

Lean Left — Leave (delete) SMS
Lean Right — Write (Reply SMS)
Lean Up — Up to the SMS Folder In
Lean Down — Done (Back to Previous Screen and Lock keypad)

Phone gestures. Installed the above-linked app and like it. Instead of opening and unlocking the phone and selecting “show message” to read an SMS, I only have to shake the phone… nice. Another obvious good use of the accelerometer would be to shake the phone to silence the alarm or silence the ringer.
