Phone gestures. Installed the above-linked app and like it. Instead of opening and unlocking the phone and selecting “show message” to read an SMS, I only have to shake the phone… nice. Another obvious good use of the accelerometer would be to shake the phone to silence the alarm or silence the ringer.
