I came across this little video on my phone the other day. :-)

    I like the adobe background.

I guess I never really thought about how … uh … “deformed” the string gets when plucked.

That’s much more than I would have guessed.

Is that a byproduct of the recording process (aliasing) or is that “just the way it is” …? Pretty amazing in any case.

I know what you mean. At first I thought it might be a slomo recording, but it’s obviously the right speed an the fingers touch the strings at the correct time. I checked several times and have to believe that yes, the strings move that violently and that we simply don’t see that when we look at the guitar.

This beautiful song and video reminds me of when I was pregnant with my daughter, and she would kick or change positions. My belly would seemingky transmutate beyond human form and flesh when I would really watch the movement…of course I felt it too! But it was wild to observe.

    I love this!
