I have noticed that what I find in front of me is not really the source of a photograph. There are days when everything is a photograph and it seems that there are also times when nothing is a photograph. There seems to be a trick to jumpstart this, which is to simply start taking photographs of anything or everything. To take photos even if absolutely nothing looks inspiring. Sometimes that works and it’s like letting a car with a dead battery roll down the street until one can let the clutch out in second gear and the engine starts up.
observing the observer – everyday i work at this
hope you are doing well
