I grew up on this side of the Rhein, and I walked on that path along the Rhein thousands of times. That hotel behind didn’t used to be there. The lights to the left of the cathedral are part of the Ludwig museum, a fantastic art collection. Walked across that bridge (pedestrians, bicycles and trains only) so many times. A lot of memories. Haven’t been back since the year my mom died – 1994.
