The mission of Educate Girls Globally (EGG) is to promote the primary and secondary education of girls in developing countries through community participation in schools. Educating girls is the best investment a developing country can make to overcome social ills. When girls remain in school, important social reforms are advanced. Family health and nutrition improve, infant mortality declines, literacy accelerates, birth rates fall, perception of a woman’s value in society change, and both family and national income grow.
