I would like to hang this iMac on the wall of my living room and use it as a music server. 80GB of HD should be able to hold over 10,000 songs using AAC files at 224kbps. I would operate it with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and hide the powercable in the wall in order to create the illusion of an unattached frame – but not while my trusty old (4 years) Pismo laptop is still alive…
Wouldn’t it be even beter with a touch screen? I had this idea long ago to build a music server with at touch screen monitor(here’s one from 3M: http://www.3m.com/3mtouchsystems/Products/Monitors/M170.jhtml) and a Shuttle Cased PC.
