One of my favorite buildings in the world is the Library of Congress in Washington DC. I love the old Jefferson Building with its marble walls and art. I like to stand looking down into the reading room where you sit at a table and a staff member brings the books you requested. The public is not allowed in the stracks. The only thing I ever did was to request a piece of music from the new building staff. That was exciting.

As someone in charge of the library for the day, I appreciate this post.
