Listening to this rich series of sounds somehow made me feel really good! Peaceful, alert, connected to Earth.

I once recorded my commute to work from Maryland to NASA HQ in DC. I turned on the little digital recorder as the Metro train was pulling into my stop. So great! You heard the train doors opening, the announcement of the subway stop, my clothes rustling around as I walked, elevator bells, people saying hello, on and on.

Lying in bed whilst (I love that word) waiting for sleep, I hear so many sounds from the house and outside. Clicks, taps, bumps, car doors closing………
