Thank you for sharing this link, Ottmar. I’ve noted it and plan to watch it soon. While in Santa Fe for Christmas in 2018, I attended an inspiring talk featuring writers, Natalie Goldberg and Katie Arnold at the Upaya Zen Center. The palpable peace in the snow-covered silence on the Upaya grounds is one of my favorite memories of that trip. I’m not Buddhist and may never meet Roshi Joan Halifax, but I deeply admire and respect her work. What comes to mind is a quote by the greatly revered, Thich Nhat Hahn: “Compassion can be as powerful as thunder.”
