I’ve been using manuka honey adhesive strips for the last couple of months. They seem to help wounds heal more quickly, and have worked where other remedies have not.

Thanks for the tip. Perhaps it’s because it is a form of sugar and creates an environment that’s too rich for bacteria?

Yes, I’m sure that could be part of it. I’ve also found that the manuka strips really help if the skin has become too dried out in the healing process…seems to help put moisture back into the wounded area. Tried them on a whim and now completely sold!
