Beer bottles, plastic cleared from Mt. Everest trail | Environment | Reuters
A Nepali airline cleared 17 tons of empty beer bottles and cans on Friday from around Lukla village, the main gateway for trekkers and climbers heading to Mount Everest base camp, a company official said.

    It’s so crazy that people will go to a place because of it’s beauty, and do that.
    They do that places where garbage cans are not far away. Also pretty crazy to try to climb that boozed up. It wouldn’t really make one braver, just more unaware of the dangers.
