That’s neither marginal nor incidental, it’s a direct sample from “2 the Night”. The only thing that’s not entriely clear to me is whether Nouveau Flamenco’s “2 the Night” was sampled, or the 1997 cover-version of “2 the Night” by the Italian group La Fortezza. I am leaning toward the latter.
