and it’s impossible for me to think metric. For a few years we attempted to teach kids metric which is obviously the logical way to measure, but it was dropped. I remember Jefferson had wanted a similar system, but why it wasn’t adapted I can’t understand. It slipped through our fingers and his system was before the French started the metric. I found this a bit ago. You do help one’s education.
