Blyth‘s translation of a poem by Shiki:

Come and drink of this clear water,
And bears.

Whether they are rich or poor, man or beast, they need water. Looking at this from the other perspective, the water does not distinguish between rich or poor, man or beast. I am often aware of this because music is like water. We play for wonderful listeners and for drunks, beautiful people and unsavory characters. Music is a gift for all. It is free, really, and the price of the ticket just ensures that it will continue to be available.

Thank you Y.
