Here is a modern way to look at human relations. There is only man (as in mankind) and woo-man (the one he or she woos). Man has two genders and woman (woo-man) has two genders. Man can be either male or female and his or her partner, wo(o)man, can be male or female. No value is added to pro-creation because there are too many humans already. What matters is for man to find wo(o)man. When looking at human relations like this there is no straight, gay or lesbian attraction – just attraction.
