Peru’s glacier vanishing, scientists warn
Ohio State glaciologist Lonnie Thompson and a team of scientists said they have found evidence the Qori Kalis glacier of the Quelccaya ice cap in the Peruvian Andes could lose half its mass in 12 months and could be gone five years from now.

I think the doubt at this point is giving way to simple apathy. Have you seen the documentary “Jesus Camp”? There was a little kid, evangelical, couldn’t have been more than 10 years old, who was saying not how global warming isn’t real but how isn’t so bad because “it’s only gone up 0.6 degrees.” Not sure whether to laugh or be horrified…as was my confused reaction throughout most of the movie.
