More thoughts on that subject. This morning I realized this:
When creating it is best to get out of the way of the music, to allow it to unfold on its own, informed and shaped by our experience, understanding and technique, but unburdened by our self. This can also be applied to raising a child. Getting out of the way of the child unfolding. In other words we can attempt to teach the child without pouring our fears and prejudices into it.
