French riots
Senegalese blogger, SEMEtt l’etincelle noire comments the continued riots in the cities of France. He presents us with his thoughts on TOLERANCE:

Tolerance and indifference.
indifference is a condition with no pain or pleasure without worry or desire
indifference has nothing to do with tolerance
tolerance is acceptance of difference
one who is indifferent has no need to practice tolerance
Maurois? wrote ‘the worst thing about old age is not the weakening of the body but the indifference of the soul’ (in French)

(Via Global Voices Online)
