Ebay – more lies

I stumbled upon this auction for an album of yours that I wasn’t famliar with and I wanted to know if you even knew about it? It’s for a Canadian import. Here’s the link…http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4750059624&category=307&rd=1

Not my album, friend. It’s a Cuban band that apparently picked the name Luna Negra in the mid nineties. I don’t know what the seller is thinking, claiming it has anything to do with me. Just search amazon.com for luna negra cuba and you will find this CD. I personally don’t like Ebay and won’t bother to correct them anymore. Methinks people like this seller count on the fact that once you get the CD and find out it has nothing to do with me, you won’t bother to protest for $5…

Obviously, the seller didn’t do his or her research before putting the CD up for auction. I could be wrong, but it appears that the seller has a big outfit going, where he or she buys loads of stuff in bulk and puts it up for sale without checking it out first.

I had a funny experience once when I bought what I thought was a Yellowman CD from a bulk seller. The sleeve insert and CD both said Yellowman on them, but when I played the CD, what came out of my CD player was Mariachi music. The seller refunded my money and I got a Mariachi CD for free (not that I’m a big fan of Mariachi music). :-)
