What studio monitors are you currently using? 2.1/5.1? I think, I saw Genelecs on the studio photos you posted a couple of years back?
See this photo or this for info on the speakers I use. I still mix only in stereo with an added sub-woofer that is switched on with the Tannoys.

I also mix only in stereo (Dynaudio) but have been hearing great things about the 2.1 ProDesk and System One by Blue Sky.

As I wrote in the post, I do mix in 2.1 when the Tannoys are on – the Subwoofer is a M+K MX-5000THX. I think these days you have to mix with a subwoofer, because so many people have them in their homes and cars! If you crank that 808 until you hear it in stereo, you will be killing those with subwoofers! Cheers.
