I had lunch with Canton at Maria’s today. Friar Canton spent most of this year in a monastery in Mexico. Some European monks make beer, others make cognacs or schnapps, but Canton’s monastery specializes in the making of mescal, using a four hundred year old recipe. Must be a fun place! Good to see you happy, friend.
