   Thank you so much for sharing this performance. UCLA is my alma mater and your post about tonight’s performance brings me back many fond memories of attending performances at the Royce hall including Marcel Marceau, Charles Aznavour, Nana Mouskouri, Judy Collins, Chick Corea and many others.

     It was a FANTASTIC performance. I especially enjoyed Gerald Clayton performance. His performance reminded me of Keith Jarret’s performance.

   I love Charles Lloyd … have been a fan since “Fish Out of Water.” (which I discovered completely by accident – HT to the CD store guy.)

   I really like the rhythm section that Lloyd has these days. Reuben Rogers and Eric Harland make a great team.
