It’s powerful and poetic and I recommend it.
I am loving this book. I have become haunted by the description of Urban Indians, who now see the city skyline instead of the sacred mountain, hear the distant train whistle instead of the cry of the wolf….. I was impressed by the author’s ability to clearly describe elements of life that seem indescribable. Like how you can see what is really behind someone’s talk by continuing to look into his face after he stops speaking.
