Knuth versus Email
I have been a happy man ever since January 1, 1990, when I no longer had an email address. I’d used email since about 1975, and it seems to me that 15 years of email is plenty for one lifetime.
and….

Thank you, dear Ottmar, for being a soothing presence during Scrabble games over the years with my mother, father, and brother- probably the only times I can recall sitting at a table with my parents and not feeling anxious. Hearing the tracks from Barcelona Nights evokes a sense of happy nostalgia for which I am most grateful. Hope you are most well. TP, Montreal.
Hey Ottmar.
It was a great concert at the Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis. I hope you didn’t think I was serious when, at the end, I commented that you and your bass player made it look so easy and that I hated you for it. I don’t. I do. Haha. Great music !!! Thank you!! I hear your music in my head.
