When an Aspen resident asked our manager whether she would have her “Chico move the bus”, she turned white with anger at the racist remark. It was an interesting beginning to our day. We were scheduled to perform at Belly Up at 7PM, with The Roots doing a late show at 11PM. The Roots showed up three hours late and took their sweet time setting up their gear. Well, our team did a great job and our soundcheck started around 4:30PM. The show itself was fun and the audience was great.
