Designer Björn Franke will exhibit a kit for creating evidence of an imaginary affair during the furniture fair in Milan next month.The kit contains nine tools for making marks on the body that look like bite marks, carpet burns, or scratches, as well as perfume, lipstick and hair for application to the body or clothes.

I was waiting for a review before I was going to order the DVD. I read and laughed and ordered the movie.

Eventually I got sleepy and paused the film so I could continue it later with a fresh eye, but I can say without reservation that anyone who has ever thrown a leg over a track bike, or better yet, knows the dizzying sensation of turning left in a pursuit of triumph should absolutely procure of copy of this themselves to bare witness to the originators of the craft.As one who enjoys the abuse of substances, I was taken with the stories of performance enhancing supplements such as a blend of Cognack, sugar water and Ether to aid in the participant’s quest for domination. As a matter of fact, just so I could fully enjoy the experience of the film, I mixed up that very concoction for myself, but before long got distracted and found myself in the corner of my living room attempting to gnaw through a garbage can lid.
At any rate, I whole heartedly recommend any and all lovers of the two wheels and the fixed cog to get this movie if for no other reason than to see first hand where they came from.

Singer-songwriter Amanda Ghost to run Epic Records | guardian.co.uk
In a move that is either devilishly clever or ridiculously misconceived, Epic Records has named Amanda Ghost – co-writer of James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful – as its new president.Ghost comes to the role with little or no management experience. The main qualification of the celebrated songwriter is that, well, she’s a celebrated songwriter. Besides You’re Beautiful, Ghost also co-wrote Beyoncé and Shakira’s hit Beautiful Liar and has worked with Kanye West, the Prodigy and Britney Spears. Ghost is also herself a singer-songwriter.
“I’m not a conventional choice as a music business executive,” Ghost admitted in a statement. “[But] I’m here to draw on my experiences as an artist, songwriter and producer to make the new and existing artists signed to Epic as brilliant and successful as possible.”
Could not resist the headline.

“Cello scrotum,” a nasty ailment allegedly suffered by musicians, does not exist and the condition was just a hoax, a senior British doctor has admitted.Back in 1974, in a letter to the British Medical Journal, Elaine Murphy reported that cellists suffered from the painful complaint caused by their instrument repeatedly rubbing against their body.
The claim had been inspired by reports in the BMJ about the alleged condition guitar nipple, caused by irritation when the guitar was pressed against the chest.
