It was supposed to be grey and drizzly yesterday but then the sun came out anyway and, like everyone else, I had to go out and walk around. I discovered this Banyan tree on Praça de Alegría – square of joy – although this square was more round than square. What a majestic tree!

the other day – i was walking by a pond near by. The water was perfectly still -(usually not- cause of ducks). A mirror appeared – thought of this tree and how it would have looked. – Other trees looked great .
if i had my camera- may have been an ok photo..(take lots of photo’s of garden but my camera cannot capture the image re light play …fantastic how it moves around from early spring to fall).

I like to think …Claude Monet – would like to paint my garden (currently an English garden ie types of flowers/ style).
In a months time – it will change again, becomes more zen like – (cut many plants to ground).
(Currently, the most incredible colour of blue – 3 ft delphiniums are in full bloom- (every years is different with this plant- this is a great year))
(every once in awhile i have a black cat visit – actually 3 – one is a tuxedo cat, another a hairy black cat and once in awhile this most elegant/sleek black cat. They all do the same thing…wonder around …sometimes stare at me….they enter and exit same way..just black cats visit! – funny)
well this morning light is something else.
Sunrise is very soft. Early light plays through this huge neighbor’s tree – it must be 80Ft or more? . Own garden is in shade.
But two trees get it nicely.
One- in another neighbor yard, lights up- perfectly. And my awesome tree glows …just so lovely. …soft glow. Fantastic ! But have to be up early or miss it.
Summer is one pretty season.
