Frozen Grand Central at Improv Everywhere
On a cold Saturday in New York City, the world’s largest train station came to a sudden halt. Over 200 Improv Everywhere Agents froze in place at the exact same second for five minutes in the Main Concourse of Grand Central Station. Over 500,000 people rush through Grand Central every day, but today, things slowed down just a bit as commuters and tourists alike stopped to notice what was happening around them.

That’s fantastic. Speaking of frozen, my sewer pipe froze up about 8 or 9 days ago. It feels like I am camping in a really big tent… with heat. Nights have not been above freezing in over a month.

Sure pulls down one’s comfort level. Michael was without electricity and of course heat for 5 hours in St Cloud Minnesota a few nights ago. The temp was down in the -30s or thereabouts. He said the silence and complete darkness was like being in some kind of sensory deprivation chamber. It really frightened his dog.
I hope everything is better now, and that since we’ve turned the page on the calender, it will warm up, and oh, won’t we appreciate it?
