Monday Morning Snow

02006-12-18 | Home, Photos, Santa Fe, Travel | 6 comments

On Saturday it was still much too warm – I walked around town in a shirt – and now it started snowing. We are supposed to get 4-8 inches today/tonight.

PS: No storm in the evening, no snow and the little bit from the morning quickly melted. Went to a friend’s house where we watched Dustin Brunson’s Kham/Tibet slideshow of about 450 photos. The slideshow was utterly amazing and beautiful. Suggested he should get a Flickr account to let more people see his photographs. Will keep you posted.

It’s interesting that we get your weather in South Dakota. It’s supposed to be heading this way. Being in the middle of the state it threatens either freezing rain or promises snow. I surely hope it’s the later. I long for snow….not the other. I’ll bet it’s pretty in santa Fe now…It is a beautiful place always.

How ironic. Up here in the land of ice and snow we have a 100% chance of a GREEN Christmas.

Here in the tri-state area it is so disgustingly rainy and mild. However, the good news is, my energy costs are down 40% over the last three months.

My last visit to Albuquerque/Santa Fe/Toas was October 2005. Hopefully I will head back soon.

    Happy Holidays!
