Spent most of yesterday and today at Upaya, discussing the future with 40 people. Met many wonderful folks and hatched a plan with Larry Littlebird to do a performance that combines his story telling and my guitar playing. The idea is to play off of each other, me reacting to his words and him in turn maybe reacting to the music. The resulting tapestry of story telling and guitar playing could be very interesting.
Ahhh, that sounds absolutely fascinating!! Very interesting concept. Want to do it on the East Coast, please? ;)
Actually, that might not be a bad idea at certain venues we’ve discussed…I’ll look into that soon, by the way.
