Anthony Garone – Guitar Stuff – Lesson 3: Frippruary
Please note: This lesson can be damaging to your mental and physical health. And, no, I’m not kidding. If you don’t have proper picking technique, you can easily injure yourself by trying out what’s provided in this lesson. Furthermore, if you do try to play it and realize how hard the song is, you might drive yourself (and those around you) nuts. If you read last month’s lesson and felt challenged, brace yourself for this month.

One note regarding using picado (fingerpicking) for these pieces. About 10 years ago I started playing exercises without resting the thumb of my right hand on any string. There is not a lot of need for this in normal play, but it really comes in handy for the first section of Fracture from Frippruary Part 1. The right hand floats and does not rest anywhere. Maybe I should make a little video of my right hand to illustrate.
