In the beginning of the year I tried Wolfgang Puck’s canned Organic Chicken Egg Noodle soup and thought it was quite good for canned soup. Other people began to discover it as well and a funny thing happened. In the canned goods isle at Whole Foods you would invariably find a hole where the Chicken Noodle soup should have been. Every other Wolfgang Puck soup would be standing there, 10 or 20 cans deep… but not a single Chicken Noodle… literally a hole in the display….
I usually take a look at the salt content of foods, especially soup, and I recall Wolfgang’s was chockful of salt so immediately put it back.
Me, I like salt. : )
