Monday Goth

Another recently re-mixed LAVA track from 1995. This one was called Gothic Rock. I love the space about 40 seconds into the song.

Jon and I just listened to this piece in the back lounge of the bus and remembered that the tremolo on Eric’s guitar was created with an Eventide HD3000, one of the wonderful classic effect units… I still have it in the studio, but it hasn’t been used in years.

You can download a high quality 320kbps version here.

Nice way to kick off my work week. Thanks. I’ve always liked the tremelo in this song. Another comparison between old & new is in order.

Thank you for taking time from your tour to send this wonderful piece. I love it! I appreciate what you’ve done here. “Rich in juxtaposition” I would say.
I borrowed that phrase from this abstract:

    Molto Bene!!
I think it’s time to dust off that ‘Eventide HD3000’!
    Grazie! ;-)

    Wonderfully un-catagorizable.

My very first thoughts were of how tremendously sensual the melding of those guitars and notes were!!!…then I thought about the old days and mushrooms…and then I just didn’t think anymore and just drifted along…
…my last thoughts and words outloud were…
…NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO…
…it could NOT stop just like that right there!!!
…NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO…
…it just simply MUST be longer…a LOT longer!

God Speed to you all…and heavenly healings to your finger, Ottmar!
